You have no worries, CBPotts. I’ve read plain old M/M books that made me feel as if I was reading a het story. Gadarene never made me feel that at all. I am still in awe (and envious) of your ability to have pulled it off. It was amazing. Wira is absolutely, perfectly unique. Thank you for giving us this book.

Gynocrat, thank you for clearing up the title. That is an excellent description of Wira’s struggle. I hadn’t found that definition; just the Swine, which did fit a bit. I like the definition you have better, though. Awesome.

Also, I am very happy to say that I have the debut issue of Rush with both your and Laura’s work. I was so excited to have it. Your part of it is absolutely gorgeous. I love how manly the men are, both in appearance and in dialogue! I hope to pick up the other issues soon!

I’m so very, very, very glad Gadarene didn’t read as a het story to you. That was one of my biggest worries, so it’s nice to hear you come right out and say it clearly wasn’t a het tale.

Why did the authors choose this reference as the title? How exactly did it fit the story?

Many folks like to think of the Gadarene Swine when they wonder where the title comes from–that was a story about exorcising demons; but to me, the actual definition of the word: a headlong rush–moving about without control; this is how I pictured Wira’s struggle whilst trying to make up for for Galen’s sin. The moment before Wira jumps into the pit. ^_^
