I almost never read ebooks, but your review convinced me to give this one a try. I'm very glad I did, I made my weekend much more amusing. I'm going to keep an eye on your reviews for others that interest me.

Read this one recently and it was a total riot! I loved the epilogue with the fairy but then I loved most things about this story. It's hard to be consistently funny but the author manages it with ease. A great read.

"Dark Lords don't wear blue."
"The sexy boots helped."

A match-making, algebra-loving, elf who left magic behind to become an accountant.

Oh god, a vain emo goth Dark Lord and the perils of blind dating. And that’s only on the first two chapters!!

I specially liked that even though Valenth was the Dark Lord moste evile, he’s still open to love. And of course, that he’s not the overbearingly macho top, but more of a romantically-challenged bottom is funny as all hell.

The end though, that’s were the story just leaves you snorfling: Pregnacy, the Greco-Roman variety, as part of a fairy hell bent on revenge, aided and abetted by Tom, the librarian!

Oohhh the shame!!

I actually bought this book a while back -- what HPeer could resist such a deliciously beckoning title-- and then completely forgot that I had it tucked away in my special "for rainy day reading" folder.

As soon as I read the the title though, I remembered that it has been patiently waiting for me for about three weeks now. Where are my priorities?!!? Must toss away calendar and begin anew!

Thanks for the memo!

**goes and tucks self in for a bit of leisure reading**

I confess, this is one of the few ebooks I actually bought and read. I enjoyed it immensely.

I was right. I know this is the one you have liked. I think it is the most funny intelligent novel I have read lately. Glad you like it after my advice: sometimes I fear to reccomend a book and then someone write to me, Hey I hate that book! But, we are different and what I like no always others like. elisa
